  4. THE 3rd BASES MEETING 2026

THE 3rd BASES MEETING 2026

BASES represents the largest collaborative group of spinal endoscopic surgeons across the UK, including surgeons from England, Scotland, and Wales, and across the full spectrum of endoscopic spinal technologies and approaches. Endoscopic spinal surgery is rapidly emerging as one of the most important advances in minimally invasive spinal care. While currently performed by a relatively small number of UK surgeons, adoption is accelerating significantly as demand grows for less invasive, motion-preserving spinal procedures with faster patient recovery. This year’s conference theme is: “From Education to Translation” The meeting is designed to support both new and established surgeons in developing high-quality endoscopic spinal surgery skills across the full range of techniques, including: * Uniportal and biportal approaches * Lumbar, thoracic, and cervical pathology * Practical implementation of endoscopic programmes The conference will include: * International keynote speakers * Expert didactic lectures * Rapid-fire panel discussions and Q&A sessions * Hands-on practical training using high-fidelity spinal models
