The UK Neurosurgery National Selection Process is highly competitive and there are a number of different deaneries within the United Kingdom. This podcast aims to enlighten listeners with comprehensive discussions on the differences between deaneries, such as clinical training and research opportunities, by interviewing with training programme directors (TPD) of each region. This podcast serves as a resource for all those who are interested in applying for neurosurgery training in the UK, either as a Specialty Trainee 1 (ST1), ST2 or as a clinical fellow.

This educational project is endorsed by the Society of British Neurological Surgeons (SBNS) but the views expressed only represent comments of the interviewed individuals. Policies do change over time. The podcasts do not provide any CPD credits
