SBNS Vice President, Prof. Michael Jenkinson is awarded the Vilhelm Magnus Medal
Prof. Michael Jenkinson (Jenks) received the prestigious Vilhelm Magnus Medal after delivering the Vilhelm Magnus Memorial Lecture in Oslo. He and his team, from the University of Liverpool and The Walton Centre Department of Neurosurgery, were singled out for work in recognition of his efforts to improve neurosurgical treatment outcomes, particularly in the field of neuro-oncology and clinical trials. The award, often described as the "Nobel Prize of Neurosurgery" was presented to him by the Norwegian Neurosurgical Association in Oslo on 23rd October 2025.
