The SBNS and Global Neurosurgery
The Society of British Neurological Surgeons is keen to support the development of high quality neurosurgical care in all the countries of the world.
We are engaged in the following activities:
- Running Global Neurosurgery Research Networks and multi-centre trials.
- Visiting experts from UK and Ireland can be identified and approached to help with virtual or face to face training and education.
- Twining of neurosurgical centres in UK and Ireland with centres around the world is a new initiative, please contact us if your centre would be keen to participate.
- Clinical observerships in UK can be facilitated.
- Facilitating UK and Ireland trainee visits to neurosurgical centres in low and middle income countries.

Membership of the SBNS for lower and middle income countries
The SBNS are offering discounted membership for all practitioners who have demonstrated an interest in the British Neurological Society and are from a lower or middle income country included on this list.
