Join us at the Queen Square Simulation Centre for a hands-on neuro-oncology course focused on the practical use of modern surgical adjuncts in brain tumour surgery. This one-day course is designed to give trainees meaningful hands-on exposure to technologies that increasingly shape day-to-day neuro-oncological practice.

Paediatric neurosurgical rotation or on-call can be daunting due to lack of patient exposure and conditions. It’s crucial for trainees to be equipped with the fundamentals of managing patients to safeguard and improve patient care. This will enable trainees to optimise and enhance their learning during their rotation or on-call.

The primary aim of this course is to help to improve the ability to manage often difficult and challenging cases in a simulation environment and share your experiences with like-minded colleagues to gain further understanding and additional skills to manage situations expertly. In collaboration with B. Braun Medical Ltd, it is aimed at trainees, ST1-ST6, providing the relevant knowledge and skills to adequately mange neurosurgical on-calls and ultimately help improve patient care.
