A review of the NICE CJD guidance 2006 (IPG 196 )
Minimise transmission risk of CJD and vCJD in healthcare settings is scheduled. Until the outcome of this review is known, the advice set in the 2006 guidance remains current and is reflected throughout  the joint DH/SBNS/NICE document above. There is an algorithm on page 15.
