The above document has been prepared by a number of contributors, but notably Alexis Joannides, Mathew Guilfoyle, Richard Mannion and Peter Hutchinson and represents the current state of knowledge about this condition and its treatment.
Fortunately it remains rare, and has to date only been reported after the first dose of either the Oxford/AstraZeneca or the Johnson and Johnson vaccines. Thus the current incidence is likely not to increase unless vaccination rates rise substantially, which is unlikely.
