Ebrain is the world's largest, most comprehensive web-based training resource in clinical neuroscience. The content has been developed in collaboration by the neuroscience speciality associations including the SBNS. The project is owned by the Joint Neurosciences Council of which the SBNS is a member.

There are over 550 twenty minute e-learning sessions that have been written by 700+ contributing clinicians drawn from all areas of the neurosciences, both in the UK and across Europe. The multimedia-rich, engaging materials are designed to enhance traditional learning, support existing teaching methods and provide a valuable reference point that is accessible online anytime, anywhere.

Annual in-training formative test questions in Neurosurgery                        

Now in its seventh year, we will be conducting this formative test questions exercise again through ebrain. The questions will open at 8am on June 5th and close at midnight on June 7th. All the previous exams are also available for practice through the ebrain website (www.ebrain.net).

Please note:

1. This is FORMATIVE and for self assessment only.  

2. Participation will require that you have an ebrain account – this is free to members of the SBNS. There is no charge for doing the exam.

3. To participate you must first write two questions that we will use for the exam next year

4. You can do this anywhere with an internet connection.
