The Welcome Reception on Wednesday evening will be held at Dynamic Earth
This state-of-the-art venue is located in the heart of this historic city, and has incredible views of an ancient volcano!
The event is an excellent opportunity to meet the hosts, catch up with old colleagues, make new friends and network and you can do all this whilst learning about our planet. A buffet dinner and drinks will be served during the evening.
The cost of the welcome reception is included in your registration fee.
Dress code is smart casual.
Gala Dinner

The National Museum of Scotland
The Gala Dinner on Thursday Evening will be held at The National Museum of Scotland.
Set across two buildings, one Victorian and one modern, and featuring a collection of more than 20,000 artefacts, the National Museum of Scotland is one of Edinburgh’s top visitor attractions. The diverse exhibits cover anything and everything to do with Scotland, including natural history, art, fashion, science and archaeology. Our guests will have have an opportunity to catch a brief glimpse of the exibits while slipping their welcome drinks.
The Victorian section of this building, with its breathtaking light-filled Grand Gallery, is where we will be seated for dinner. It has a beautiful ‘birdcage’ structure with delicate cast-iron balconies and a soaring glass roof. It is the perfect setting for a formal dinner, where you will be served delicious food and fine wine.
After dinner there will be some traditional Scottish entertainment and an opportunity to practice your dancing skills. These events are also a great opportunity to dress up, so if you have always had a yearning to wear a kilt or traditional Scottish evening wear now’s your chance!
Dress Code is Black Tie/ National Cosutume and Honorary Awards.
