The 2022 SBNS Spring meeting will be hosted by our colleagues at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff and will be held in the All Nations Centre, which has excellent conference facilities and is located in the Gabalfa district of Cardiff.

The hosts have been planning the conference for some time, it was originally planned to be held in 2021 but for obvious reasons had to be rescheduled. They have a varied and exciting academic and social programme arranged. The Subspecialty group joining the meeting on Tuesday 29 March will be the British Neurovascular Group (BNVG) who will be hosting a half day meeting in the afternoon which all delegates are invited to attend.

The Main meeting starts on Wednesday 30 March with a Life Long Learning Session which will also showcase Neurovascular Surgery. With the help of several experts in this field it will provide a stimulating and educating session covering updates on clinical practice and research on this sub-specialty topic.

The rest of the meeting will be equally informative and entertaining and will include three eponymous guest lectures delivered by prominent speakers, plenary talks, debates and Free Paper Sessions from the abstracts submitted. There will also be a large Poster Session, breakfast seminars on Thursday and Friday morning and much more!

As well as an extensive academic programme we have some wonderful social events planned. The welcome reception on Wednesday will be at Techniquest, an innovative science centre on Cardiff Bay and the formal black tie Gala Dinner will be at Cardiff’s famous National Museum situated in the heart of the City.

An extensive exhibition will be held throughout the meeting with neurosurgical companies exhibiting their latest products and innovations. Several neuro related charities will also have stands in the exhibition so please take the time to pay them a visit and show your support.

Our Hosts look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful City of Cardiff and extend a warm Welsh welcome to you all.

This meeting is open to anyone who has an interest in neruosurgery at all levels - please feel free to prmomote this event to your colleagues both home and abraod.    #SBNSCARDIFF2022  Download the Save the Date Flyer pdf_icon.gif
