
Medtronic Travel Bursary
The Medtronic Travel Bursary of £1,500 is awarded to the overall best oral presentation each year from the Spring and Autumn SBNS Scientific Meetings. The prize money is used to support attendance at an international Neurosurgical meeting. The prize was was introduced in 2005, and the first winner was:
Mrs L Morgan from the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery for her presentation entitled:
‘The Role of Interleukin 6 polymorphisms and subarachnoid haemorrhage’.
This abstract was presented at the SBNS Spring Meeting in 2005, in Edinburgh.
